We were allowed to checked in slightly later than the check in time, the caretaker said as long as we arrived safe it didn’t matter how late we were. Clean rooms and comfortable bed.
Everything was great and we would definitely come back again good value for money I would like to say thank you for staying up for our late arrival from Cornwall
Stayed with 3 other ladies who were spending an evening in Burnham on Sea. We needed somewhere to lay our heads for the evening and The Sundowner was perfect. We were made to feel very welcome by the owners, rooms and bedding were clean. The place was very eccentric which added to its charm, personally I love this. Nice big car park. Owners let us take our time at check out and gave us a bit of extra time. If you love eccentric surroundings, warm and welcoming hosts at pocket friendly prices. This is your place. I thought I'd booked bed and breakfast! ThecSundowner is a Hotel. It has a bar, but does not serve drinks, as the bar is closed! It has a restaurant, but does not serve food , as it is closed! However, it does provide Accomodation, at an excellent price ! The rooms are basic, but good value for money! Customer Service provided by Manuel is excellent! Being next to a main road is not for some! I live next to the M6, so the ocasional bit of traffic wasnt an issue for me! I went shopping for a takeaway and some booze! Manuel provided a tray, cutlery, and glasses for my drinks! I simply could not have asked for better service and a bit of banter! Would I use again? That's a resounding yes! Would I recommend the Sundowner, which is more like Faulty Towers, with its own Manuel, yes I would!
Nice hotel friendly and helpful staff/owners. We had 2 rooms for 2 nights and both were more than comfortable. Only slight issue that didn’t really affect us was the hot water tap in the family room didn’t work but the shower was great.
The hotel was amazing the staff was so welcoming the bed was comfy had the best night sleep... breakfast was absolutely tasty best breakfast around had everything we asked for always making sure we had everything and if we need anything else .
